LET´S DRESS UP!!

 In this unit, we are going to learn vocabulary related to clothes and personal possesions.

When talking about clothes we wear, we use the structure: TO BE + WEARING.

I´m wearing a dress.

You are wearing sandals.

He/she is wearing trainers.

We are wearing baseball caps.

You are wearing jeans.

They are wearing pyjamas.

We also have started learning about PLURAL.

INTERACTION: LOCOMOTOR SYSTEM AND SENSES.

INTERACTION enables us to interact with the world around us.

1. Our five senses (sight, smell, hearing, touch and taste) get information and pass it to the brain.

.

2. The brain decides the reaction and tells the locomotor system what to do.

3. Then the body moves.

Our NERVOUS SYSTEM is made up by the brain, the spinal cord and the nerves.

- The brain is inside our head.

- The nerves are all over the body. 

- The spinal cord is inside the spinal column.

Our body has got three parts: head, torso or trunk and limbs.

Our LOCOMOTOR SYSTEM is made of bones, joints and muscles.

Bones support our body and protect our organs. 

- They are hard. 

- Bones form our skeleton. 

Joints permit body parts to move.

- Joints are where two or more bones meet. 

- They make the skeleton flexible.

Muscles control all movement in the body.

-  They are soft and stretchy. 

- They contract and relax.
