NUTRITION: EXCRETORY SYSTEM

 Our excretory system helps us to eliminate waste products. It has different parts:

1. The KIDNEYS clean the blood and turn waste substances into urine.

2. The urine goes down the URETERS, which are long and thin tubes, into the bladder.

3. The BLADDER is like a bag and it holds urine.

 4. Finally, the urine goes down the URETHRA, which is a short tube, and ends up into the toilet.

NUTRITION: CIRCULATORY SYSTEM

The circulatory system trasnports oxygen and nutrients through our bodies. 

The CIRCULATORY SYSTEM has two parts:

- HEART: it  pumps the blood round the body through different blood vessels.

- BLOOD VESSELS (veins and arteries): they are thin tubes that carry the blood to all parts of the body.

NUTRITION: RESPIRATORY SYSTEM

 Our body needs oxygen to work. We use the respiratory system to breathe (get oxygen from the air) and move oxygen through our bodies.

There are 3 parts:

- We breathe air in through our NOSE, we breathe automatically.

- The air goes down the TRACHEA (or windpipe)

- The air goes into the LUNGS, where the oxygen passes into the blood.
