Spain borders Portugal in the west, France and Andorra in the north and Morocco in the south.
- Spain is divided into 17 autonomous communities and 2 autonomous cities (Ceuta and Melilla).
- Some autonomous communities have more than one province and some only have one province. There are 52 provinces in total.

POPULATION
- The population is all the people living in a place.
- We can classify population according to:
- Gender: male (boys and men) and female (girls and women).
- Age groups: children(0-12), adolescents(13-20), adults (21-70) and older people (+70).
- Where they live: rural population (they live in villages) and urban population (they live in towns and cities).
CULTURE
- Culture of a place is made up of language, food, festivals, music, dance, monuments, and museums.
- The official language in Spain is Spanish.
- There are also other co-official languages:
- Galician: Galicia.
- Basque: Basque Country and Navarra.
- Catalan: Catalonia and Balearic Island.
- In some autonomous communities, they speak other languages too: Valencian (Comunidad Valenciana), Aranés (Lérida), Aragonés (Aragón) and Asturiano (Asturias).
